Your journey begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup in Cusco and a scenic transfer to the Poroy train station. From there, you’ll board a comfortable tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Town. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River, and the changing landscapes as you descend from the Andes into the lush cloud forest.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our local guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Later, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and have the afternoon free to explore this charming town at your own pace. You can stroll through the artisan markets, visit the local museum, or relax in the natural hot springs that give the town its name.
In the evening, you’ll have a dinner included at a local restaurant, followed by a briefing with your guide to review the details of the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu. Rest well — tomorrow, one of the world’s greatest wonders awaits you.

After an early breakfast, you’ll board the first bus to Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise over the citadel before the crowds arrive. Your expert guide will lead you through a two-hour tour of the most significant areas, including the Temple of the Sun, the Main Square, and the agricultural terraces. Learn about the engineering genius and spiritual significance of this Inca masterpiece as you explore its timeless stone structures
Once the guided tour concludes, you’ll have free time to explore on your own — take more photos, meditate in the quiet surroundings, or simply enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the Andean mountains. Later, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch at your leisure before the return trip.
In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollantaytambo while admiring the last views of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you back to your hotel in Cusco, arriving around 8:00 p.m..
