✨ A Journey Through the Sacred Valley: Where the Spirit of the Inca Awakens
Embark on a private full-day journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a land where history, nature, and spirituality intertwine. Departing from Cusco at 7:30 a.m., we travel through fertile landscapes that once nourished the heart of the Inca Empire. At the Taray Viewpoint, you’ll take in a breathtaking panorama of the Vilcanota River winding through the valley, surrounded by majestic mountains once revered as sacred.
Our next stop is Pisac, an archaeological wonder with agricultural terraces and solar temples that reveal the Incas’ deep understanding of astronomy and harmony with nature. In the traditional town of Pisac, you’ll stroll through its vibrant artisan market, filled with handwoven textiles, painted pottery, and silver jewelry crafted by local artisans.

We’ll continue to Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits, featuring the best of Peruvian cuisine—ceviche, lomo saltado, quinoa dishes, and more—prepared with fresh ingredients from the Sacred Valley.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the last living Inca towns and a masterpiece of stone engineering. Its cobblestone streets still follow the original Inca layout, and the Temple of the Sun continues to stand as a symbol of strength and spiritual devotion.

On our way back, we’ll visit Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village where ancestral weaving traditions are still alive. Here, you’ll witness how natural dyes are created from plants and minerals, preserving a heritage passed down through generations. You’ll also explore the colonial church of Chinchero, built upon ancient Inca foundations—a striking symbol of the fusion of two cultures.

As the light softens over the mountains, we return to Cusco around 6:30 p.m., carrying with us the essence of the Sacred Valley—its timeless history, its warm-hearted people, and the enduring spirit of the Andes.

The "Classic Sacred Valley Tour 1D" is a private tour, exclusively designed for you and your group. You’ll have a dedicated guide and private transportation, ensuring a more tailored and flexible experience. Simply choose the package that matches the size of your group when making your reservation.
On which days is the market in Pisac open?
The Pisac market is open every day, with the highest influx of travelers on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. On the other days, the market is smaller but still operational.
Does the included "Tourist Ticket" give access to other sites in Cusco?
The ticket included in this tour is the "Partial Tourist Ticket" (Circuit III), which only covers the Sacred Valley sites (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero). It does not provide access to other places in Cusco like Sacsayhuamán or Qorikancha.
Can I be picked up from a hotel located in the Sacred Valley (like Urubamba or Ollantaytambo) instead of Cusco?
Yes! We offer pickup from hotels in Cusco and most towns in the Sacred Valley. However, depending on your pickup location in the Sacred Valley, the itinerary will be adjusted to cover the 3 main sites (Pisac, Chinchero, Ollantaytambo). We recommend your hotel be in Cusco for a smoother experience.

The price is for groups up to 12 people. For larger groups, we arrange additional vehicles and guides. Contact us for a quote.
Can the itinerary and order of visits change?
Yes, the order may change for operational reasons like weather, traffic, or to enhance your experience. All mentioned attractions are included.
Is this tour suitable for children and elderly people?
Yes, the tour is easy, but involves walking on uneven terrain and at high altitude. We recommend acclimatizing in Cusco for at least 24-48 hours before the tour.
If the tour already includes lunch, why do you recommend bringing snacks?
Lunch is at 12:30 PM. We recommend light snacks to maintain energy in the morning and afternoon, as the return to Cusco is at 6:30 PM. Hydration is key.
What type of ID is valid for this tour? Do I need to bring my original passport?
A valid photo ID (like a driver's license or copy of your passport) is accepted. We recommend carrying a copy of your passport for safety. The original might be needed to buy the tourist ticket, but we usually handle this.
